I’ve got a number of blog posts queued up in my head:

  • Activist behavior design from the perspective of open source consultants to the military (!!!)
  • Institutional change vs grassroots mobilizing, and how the activities compliment each other, but how the leaders frequently come in conflict when approaching problem solving from such different perspectives
  • Asking for help the right way
  • “culture” fit as defined in Europe/EU vs the US
  • K-12 US education reform activity
  • The next year in PostgreSQL development
  • my upcoming keynote at FROSCON (August)
  • my upcoming keynote at LISA (December)
  • contracting
  • finding a great lawyer
  • women in tech who experience sexual harassment while in management positions, who know that if they go to HR they risk their entire careers — so they don’t, often because they’re the sole breadwinner, or so that they can eventually get promoted out of the terrible situation
  • the expectation that activists working on women’s issues be “nice”
  • the value of listening
  • the value of learning to detect lies
  • the value of an inner circle of advisors

SO MANY THINGS.

I’m also looking for a job. :)
